Abstract

In contemporary moral philosophy there is a profound debate on the universal or particular character from reasons for action. At the bottom of the discussion there are incompatible conceptions regarding not only the scope of reasons, but also different points of view about practical rationality in general. In the first part of the article, I present two models of practical reasoning: universalismus and particularismus. I will try to show how they are related with the concept of norm and practical reasoning grounded on norms.
