Abstract

This essay is a critical study of Razones Públicas by Andrés Rosler. It begins by reconstructing the main theses advanced in the book. Next, it expresses some concerns about Rosler’s argument for republicanism; it then contends that Rosler does not succeed in showing that republicanism is superior to liberal egalitarianism as a political theory. To finish, the essay ends with some closing remarks.
