Abstract

This paper critically engages with the book “Positivismo jurídico ‘interno’” (2018) by María Cristina Redondo. Each of the chapters of the work is analyzed in detail, presenting various criticisms or problems that the author has left unresolved. The merits of this work and its discussion in the current legal philosophical literature are also presented. The main aim of this paper is to facilitate the understanding of the work by clarifying various issues that are taken for granted or by disambiguating some of the author’s arguments. Finally, a balance of the work is drawn, and it is concluded that the theoretical position defended in the five chapters, internal legal positivism, has a stimulating future.
