Abstract

The central discussion in this issue is based on the article "How to found a community after the crime?..." by Claudia Hilb. She proposes a double entry to analyse the reasons and consequences of the fact that in Argentina the possibility for repressors and members of organisations involved in the armed struggle to reflect on their own actions and their responsibility for the Terror of the 1970s has been blocked. Diego Tatián's paper, "Founding a community after the crime?", is based on a questioning of the assumptions that guide Hilb's announced objective, from which he proposes five annotations that touch on several of his argumentative cores, concentrated in an unavoidable counterpoint with the statements linked to the Argentine case and, only in a subsidiary way, referring to Hilb's interpretation of Arendt and the South African case.
