This article replies to the comments and criticisms made by Hugo Zuleta, María Gabriela Scataglini and José Juan Moreso not only to “What Is It to Apply the Law?”, but to a previous related article, “On the Legal Syllogism”. It discusses rule-deductivism and the model of the legal syllogism, and clarifies, defends, and develops the applicability model of the justification of law-applying judicial decisions proposed in “What Is It to Apply the Law?”
